TIREKA COLLINS ,CPT, ASCP
I received my phlebotomy certification from Southern University Shreveport in 2009. I began my career at Oshner LSU Shreveport in May 2009 -2011 where I continued to work as a phlebotomist and specimen processor. From 2011 until the present I have worked for Willis Knighton Health System. 6 years ago, I became the Lead Phlebotomist. I have a great deal of experience in training new hires as well as students. I am excited to have the opportunity to inspire healthcare professionals in the phlebotomy field.
Kimberly ASB, BSE
working toward her Master's in Health Administration and Social Services. The owner of Therapeutic Essential Total Body Bar LLC is a certified and registered medical clinician, a lab technician, and a certified medical billing and coding specialist. She a licensed noninvasive practitioner She has worked in various specialties in the medical clinic, surgery, and hospital arenas for over 20 plus years and utilizes her background in plastic surgery Other areas of training Neurology, OBGYN, Podiatry, Orthopedic, Internal Medicine and many more. She is also an educator at the local vocational colleges. Kimberly is studying to become a licensed esthetician to be able to provide Total Body Care for all of her clients. In her spare time, she loves to listen to all types of music 🎶.

She is attending UACCH , her major is in Nursing. Olivia graduated from Prescott High School. She enjoy spending time with family and friends

17 years cumulative medical experience, I have been teaching with Southwest/ Central Medical academy since 2021, I teach Clinical Medical Assistant, phlebotomy and CNA. I love educating future medical professionals.
Jessica Cannon CMA, CPT
with 24 years of experience. I have been teaching at Southwest Medical Academy since 2020. I love teaching students and watching them grow. I absolutely love helping others. Outside of teaching, I get to care for our nations veterans at the Department of Veteran Affairs. I have an absolute love for God, and I am guided by my faith every day.
Gennetta Yarbrough RN Primary Instructor
Gennetta started her journey in the healthcare field in 1979 . She attended Texarkana community college & SAU Tech . As of today , Ms. Yarbrough has 23 years of teaching experience and 43 years of nursing experience.
Shawanda Thomas, CPhT
is the pharmacy technician instructor here at SWMA. She started her career in the pharmacy field 16 years ago after graduating from Remington College with a diploma in Pharmacy Technology. She went on to work as a technician in several different areas of pharmacy before becoming a certified instructor. Having a passion for both training others and being a technician is what lead her to become an instructor 10 years ago. She is also a 2020 graduate of Arkansas Baptist College where she obtained her associate's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.
Britney Gulley
My name is Britney Gulley and I’m 30 years of age. I have 10 years of experience in patient care and phlebotomy. I have been working as a Phlebotomy Instructor with this company for almost 4 years. In 2022 I became certified as a Medical Assistant with South-West Medical Academy, and from then on, I have worked in pediatrics. I aspire to get my nursing license and work in Pediatrics or Gynecology.
Noel Staurt BSN, RN (Instructor)
Mrs. Stuart has more than 9 years of nursing experience caring foe a variety of patients and patient populations, she received training and education from University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Outside of nursing, she's a mother and wife to two amazing little people and her high school sweetheart. She enjoys pouring into others which makes teaching an absolute joy for her. Growing future healthcare providers in any capacity is her calling.

Brittany Moss is the owner and administrator . Brittany joined the healthcare field at age 16. Starting off as a Nursing Assistant & Phlebotomist . She graduated from Prescott High School 1 year early , she attended Clark County CNA School and Texarkana Community College . After just 3 years in the healthcare field , Brittany decided to expand her knowledge and go into business . In 2019 She opened her own private healthcare school in Prescott Ar at age 20. As of today , this school has trained over 2,500 students and have maintained great Job & passing rates . Brittany is known as a pioneer in the healthcare world in Arkansas for being the youngest person to ever open a private career and education school.
